Halwa is one universal favourite Dessert recipe for us Indians! I am sure everybody loves it. There are many variations to this recipe ranging from Pumpkin Halwa to Pineapple Halwa! I saw this recipe from Afreen Usman at the Sikandalous Cuisine FB Page & wanted to make this the moment I saw it! so damn easy and her photograph looked so damn tempting! I recreated this on a lovely Friday morning! and the result was awesomely delicious! Although my result looks nowhere close to the brilliance of Afreen but still the taste was mighty good!

Minimum Fuss and Maximum Results as they say is the underlying theme of this recipe!
Semolina/Suji: 1 cup
Milk powder (We used full cream version): 1 cup
Sugar 5 tsp ( to get the Sugar Caramelization Effect)
Chopped Cashews/Kaju 2 tbsp
Raisins/Kishmish: 2 tbsp
Splenda: 1/2 cup
Refined Oil: 3/4th cup
Water: 2 cups
Put all ingredients except water in a thick bottom kadai and bhunno on low flame till it turns into a nice brown colour. Then add the water and cover it for a few minutes. (yes it is that simple!)
Now make this and get lost in the flavours of this wonderfully easy recipe!
